Lauren is a Cold Spring resident with six years’ experience practicing massage in acupuncture clinics, physical therapy and chiropractor offices, athletic clubs, wellness centers, and off-Broadway shows, in addition to her private practice. Her education includes a BFA in Dance Performance at SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance, and Massage Therapy training at San Francisco School of Massage and Bodywork and the Cortiva Institute in Hoboken. She is currently studying Holistic Nutrition Therapy at Nutrition Therapy Institute. Lauren specializes in therapeutic massage, integrating different modalities as needed based on a thorough intake process. She has experience with various styles including deep tissue, myofascial release, pre and postnatal, Swedish, trigger point, reflexology, medical and sports massage, which allows her to personalize each bodywork session as needed. She is licensed in New York State and is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
