HALDANE SCHOOL FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH THE CHAMBER ON SCAVENGER HUNT

The Haldane School Foundation, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, invites village businesses to participate in “March on Main: Blue Devil Scavenger Hunt” on March 20–22. 

The foundation is celebrating its twentieth anniversary, and it wishes to highlight Haldane’s long-standing relationship with Main Street and the Cold Spring and Philipstown-area business community.

Similar to the popular Where’s Waldo hunt sponsored by Split Rock Books last summer, the event will be a family hunt for the Blue Devil, the Haldane school mascot. On March 20–22, participating merchants will hide a Blue Devil cutout in plain sight in their shops. When families find it, store personnel will mark a score sheet with a unique stamp or staff signature. Families who complete the score sheet will be entered into a raffle. A separate raffle will be held for families who upload photos on social media.

The prize in each raffle is a basket containing gift cards from local businesses. Any business that would like to donate to these baskets is welcome!
