NY State of Health has reopened healthcare enrollment to help those hit with financial hardship during the crisis

Are you experiencing financial hardships from the COVID-19 business shut downs? You may be eligible to apply for a lower cost health care plan or a free Medicaid plan through the New York State of Health healthcare program. NY State of Health has reopened its enrollment program for NY state residents who can no longer afford to make payments on their pre-crisis healthcare plans. Enrollment has been extended to May 15, 2020, and will retroactively cover your healthcare beginning April 1, 2020.
