THE CHAMBER LIGHTS MAIN STREET

The Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce is working with the Village of Cold Spring, generous sponsors (the Cold Spring Depot Restaurant and NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital), and volunteers to bring extra holiday cheer to Main Street. We will supply lights to decorate the Visitors’ Center, the tunnel entrance, the bushes at the foot of Main Street, and the trees on Main Street.* We need local shopkeepers and village residents to volunteer to help us turn the historic business district into a winter wonderland.

Would you like to help? Volunteers will decorate the trees without harming them, make sure that the solar panel for their strand of lights stays clear of snow and other coverings throughout the winter, and commit to taking the lights down in February. Main Street shop owners might volunteer to decorate a tree in front of their store. If you’re interested, email us at info(at)coldspringnychamber.com.

*We may not be able to provide lights for every tree. We will do our best to distribute them equally throughout the business district to achieve the maximum cheerful effect.
