COLD SPRING CHAMBER PRODUCES SAFETY SIGNAGE

With the endorsement of the governments of Putnam County, Philipstown, Cold Spring, and Nelsonville, as well as the Putnam County Tourism Department and Putnam County Business Council, the Cold Spring Chamber has produced a poster and a yard sign to inform residents and visitors of the New York State rules for mask wearing in public. Teresa Lagerman, the Chamber’s membership coordinator, has designed a poster on the theme “Let’s stop the spread together” and a yard sign that reminds people to wear masks. (Thank you, Teresa!)

If you would like a poster for the window of your business, you may pick one up free at Flowercup Wine, 82 Main Street, Cold Spring, or email info@coldspringnychamber.com to request that one be dropped off for you.

The yard sign is a further way you can encourage your patrons to wear masks, especially on busy weekends. Double-sided and measuring 18 x 24 inches, the sign reads, “Masks On!” It can be placed in tree pits and planting strips.

The Chamber is selling the yard signs at cost for $43. You can order one here, and we’ll email you when it’s ready. The sign will be delivered to your business 7–10 business days after your payment is received.
